Come dance with us this winter! From Preschool Dance to Adult Ballet, there’s something for everyone at Crossmaneuver. Classes start on January 5th and carry through until March 16th.
Registration opens on December 9th at 9:00am.
Preschool Dance
Ages 2-3
This program is a playful introduction for your preschooler to discover the world of dance. Your child will have creative freedom to explore and express themselves through movement to a wide variety of music.
Preschool Ballet
Ages 3-4
Crossmaneuver makes dance fun and magical. Your preschooler will learn the basic vocabulary of ballet while connecting dance to stories and songs. Ballet attire, including tights and slippers, is recommended. All genders are invited to experience the magic of dance!
Dance Foundations
Ages 5-6
Dance Foundations introduces students to the basic training of ballet and contemporary dance. Participants will develop their dance vocabulary through exploration and fun.
Ballet — Level 1
Ages 6-8
The program aims to develop technique, artistry and the love of dance in equal measures. Young participants will learn the vocabulary and the syllabus of ballet in a lovely and nurturing environment.
Ballet — Level 2
Ages 8-10
Building on the fundamentals from Ballet Level 1, this program aims to help dancers develop technique, artistry and the love of dance. Young participants will learn the vocabulary and the syllabus of ballet in a lovely and nurturing environment.
Adult Ballet
Ages 16+
Dance training is a fun and engaging way to improve strength, flexibility, and balance while enjoying the musicality and grace of ballet. Ballet terms and positions are learned at the barre, followed by short dance sequences at centre and across the floor. This class is suitable for beginner to intermediate level dancers. Ballet shoes or socks recommended.
Contemporary Jazz — Level 1
Ages 6-8
In this program, young participants will learn to dance by drawing from many forms in a fun and open way. Contemporary Jazz is used by many dance companies across the world to explore, create and perform, and is an important form for a young dancer to learn in order to develop new ways of moving.
Contemporary Jazz — Level 2
Ages 10-13
In this program, young participants will learn to dance by drawing from many forms in a fun and open way. Contemporary Jazz is used by many dance companies across the world to explore, create and perform, and is an important form for a young dancer to learn in order to develop new ways of moving.
Street Dance
Ages 7-10
Street Dance Hip Hop is an energetic and vibrant dance style that includes grooving techniques, party steps, body isolaton techniques, musicality, and freestyling. This is not just about learning moves but it is an expression of individuality, creativity, and passion. Come have fun! And develop self-confidence, self-expression, and creativity.
Musical Theatre (Level 1)
Ages 6-8
This program is an introduction to using music, theatre, and dance to tell a story while developing confidence and cooperation. Participants will sing, act and dance with a focus on the development of skills through fun exercises and games.
Musical Theatre (Level 2)
Ages 9-12
This program is an introduction to using music, theatre, and dance to tell a story while developing confidence and cooperation. Participants will sing, act and dance with a focus on the development of skills through fun exercises and games.

Crossmaneuver classes and programs are run through UNA at Westbrook Community Centre. By clicking the Info + Registration you will be redirected to the UNA website, where you can select the CM class you are interested in and register.
